Questions
How is my speed worked out?
Keystrokes in the time used, five to a word, as SSC counts them. KDPH is the same count for an hour.
Do mistakes I correct count?
No. Only the text in the box when the time is up or you submit is checked, word by word, against the text to type.
How many mistakes are allowed?
SSC sets it for each post and category and publishes it with the results. In CHSL 2025, LDC and JSA allowed 7% for unreserved candidates and 10% for other categories, and DEO 5% and 7%. The result gives your full and half mistakes to check against the notice for your post.
Is this the real SSC software?
No. It follows SSC's published rules so you can practise to them, but it is not the exam's software.
