Typing Greek on your own keyboard

On this page your keys type Greek by themselves. To type Greek anywhere else, add the Greek layout. On Windows: Settings, Time & language, Language & region, Add a language, Greek; switch with Win + Space. On a Mac: System Settings, Keyboard, Input Sources, Edit, then +, Greek; switch with Control + Space. The letters land where the drawing above shows them.

Greek writes one accent, the tonos: ά έ ή ί ό ύ ώ. On the Greek layout, press the key right of L (΄), then the vowel. With Shift that key gives the diaeresis, for ϊ and ϋ. Final sigma, ς, is on W.
